The SWS crisis intervention service is available to UCT students going through mental health crises and ensure that students are attended to timeously and linked to care.
The services offered include:
- After-hours emergency mental health care and emotional support for students presenting with psychiatric emergencies;
- Linking students to care incl. refer students to the next best level of care when required; and
- Facilitate the linkage to care with an SWS mental health practitioner.
